What you'll do:

⭐ Manage a diverse client portfolio, building strong relationships and serving as their trusted advisor.
⭐ Take ownership of your client portfolio, ensuring their financial needs are met.

⭐ Respond promptly and effectively to client inquiries via phone, email, and the Osome app.

⭐ Offer proactive accountancy and tax advice, leveraging your expertise in financial accounting principles and UK tax laws.

⭐ Prepare, review, and finalise year-end accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

⭐ Review and discuss monthly management accounts, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.

⭐ Prepare and finalise self-assessment tax returns and corporation tax returns, maximising benefits for clients.

⭐ Meet all statutory filing deadlines, maintaining compliance and regulatory obligations.

Who you are:
⭐ University Degree in Accountancy or Finance or otherwise demonstrable strong aptitude for numeracy.

⭐ Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent) or qualified by experience.

⭐ Proven experience working within accounting practice servicing a portfolio of clients, preparing and reviewing financial statements.

⭐ Excellent Excel skills, including understanding best practices in reviewing financial models; advanced knowledge of Xero is advantageous.

⭐ Detailed knowledge of SME/Small Medium Business (SMB) accounting for UK clients.

⭐ Ability to work remotely, with one office day per month and in-person attendance for formal meetings as required.
