What you'll do:

⭐ Take the lead on recruitment for our R&D team in Malaysia and across broader Asia, managing the full cycle from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and finalising offers.

⭐ Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified technical candidates across various functions (e.g., software engineering, data science, and product development).

⭐ Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, create job descriptions, and strategise on finding the best talent in the region.

⭐ Utilise creative sourcing strategies to engage passive candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach.

⭐ Deliver an excellent candidate experience by managing clear, timely communication throughout the hiring process.

⭐ Collaborate with HR and talent teams to streamline recruitment processes and improve hiring metrics for quality, speed, and diversity.

Who you are:

⭐ Proven experience in tech recruiting in Malaysia and the broader Asia region, ideally with a focus on R&D and engineering roles.

⭐ Strong understanding of the local tech talent landscape and market trends in Malaysia and Asia.

⭐ Demonstrated ability to manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring an efficient and effective candidate journey. 

⭐ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.

⭐ Experience with ATS systems (preferably Team Tailor) and recruitment tools (such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Insights) to manage pipelines and reporting.
