We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in team supervision, client advisory, and process improvement.
What You'll Do:
Team Supervision and Development
⭐ Train and mentor the accounting team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
⭐ Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for professional/personal growth.
⭐ Collaborate with the Quality team to implement training programs and enhance team capabilities.
⭐ Ensure work done by team members aligns with company quality standards.
⭐ Ensure timely and accurate reporting to meet statutory requirements for all team members.
⭐ Guide the team to understand clients’ needs and ensure streamlined work processes.
⭐ Ensure timely and high-quality reports, managing client expectations and aligning with clients’ internal deadlines.
⭐ Track clients’ satisfaction levels and handle client complaints effectively.
⭐ Demonstrate excellent communication skills to address client concerns.
⭐ Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and propose solutions for workflow streamlining.
⭐ Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance.
Who you are:
✅ Minimum diploma in Accountancy; ACCA/ISCA certification is advantageous
✅ 3-5 years of experience in team leadership, establishing and managing OKRs, and consistently attaining KPIs
✅ Solid understanding of accounting principles, with a background in outsourced or external audits
✅ Experience in managing UFS, payroll, personal tax, GST, accounts consolidation, and corporate tax
✅ Familiarity with Accounting Software, e.g. XERO, QuickBooks
✅ Strong time management and communication skills
