As an Accounting and Tax Manager, you will play a vital role in leading a team of accountants to deliver high-quality financial statements and provide exceptional tax advisory services to our clients. You will supervise the team, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, drive process improvements, and maintain strong client relationships. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the development and implementation of internal systems and provide valuable insights for product development.

What you'll do:

Team Supervision:

⭐ Lead and manage a team of accountants, both locally and overseas, to ensure timely delivery of financial statements that meet Osome's quality standards.

⭐ Encourage the efficient use of the in-house accounting product and introduce changes in line with the Product strategy.

⭐ Develop and implement KPIs aligned with the company's goals and monitor team performance.

⭐ Keep up-to-date with industry trends, accounting regulations, and company direction changes to ensure compliance.

⭐ Provide tax legislation and knowledge to the accounting team to better serve clients' needs.

⭐ Handle Hong Kong compliance cases and draft comprehensive replies to IRD queries on all offshore claims.

⭐ Provide independent Hong Kong tax and stamp duty advice.

⭐ Stay informed about new and emerging tax and accounting issues, both domestically and internationally.

Client Advisory:

⭐ Collaborate with the Sales Team on client enquiries and the Client Success Team on client complaints.

⭐ Provide tax advice and support to the business teams.

Process Improvement:

⭐ Actively participate in changes to the internal system and provide training to ensure team members are up-to-date.

⭐ Ensure the team adheres to global practices and efficiently uses the internal accounting system.

⭐ Provide valuable insights on ERP for product development.

Others:

⭐ Build and maintain business relationships with audit partners.

⭐ Review internal accounts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in Hong Kong.

⭐ Undertake any projects or duties as required by the VP of Accounting and Managing Director.

Who you are:

✅Member of HKICPA or other related professional bodies; ability to sign experiences for student members is a plus.

✅At least 5 years of relevant working experience gained in CPA/Tax consultancy firms.

✅Fluent in English (verbal and written).

✅Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.

✅Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.

✅Confident, independent, and adaptable.

✅Tech-driven mindset.

✅Experience working with product/tech is preferred.
