As part of this role, you’ll:

Accounting:

• Manage Bookkeeping and full set of accounts for Singapore-based clients, handling portfolio of 40-50 clients
• Record financial transactions from source documents into Accounting System based on Accounting Standards and Accurate Reconciliation
• Constantly stay updated with new regulations and accounting standards
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure correct billing
• Testing of accounting software and giving feedback

People Management:

• You will work directly with our Accounting Lead in managing a team of Accountants and Account Associate/Executive
• Contribute to company operational matters and be ready to manage up to 6 team members in ensuring quality and timely delivery of tasks assigned
• To get the team to always be in-line with the company needs and changes
• Solve accounting-related issues for the team, and escalate any more significant issues and manpower need as well as minimize complaints

You'll need to have:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent, professional certification ACCA is a plus
• Min 3-5 years of experience at a top-tier accounting firm or fast-growth venture-backed startup environment with at least 1-2 years of managing people/team experience
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and proven self-starter
• Experience building processes and executing projects in the past is preferred
• Specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting/Auditing or equivalent as an Executive / Senior Executive
• Familiarity in handling cloud accounting software such as Xero and/or Quickbooks will be added advantage
• Excellent communicator with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Self-motivated and proactive; able to work meticulously under tight deadlines
